IJS Publishing Group partners with Editage to support their author community

(February 5, 2018; London, UK) IJS Publishing Group and Editage have entered a partnership to offer pre-submission manuscript preparation services and post-publication research communication services to authors. IJS Publishing Group has adapted to the Open Access movement seamlessly with many of their journals being Open to everyone. The IJS Press also partners with societies and institutions interested in launching their own Open Access journals. Their portfolio of 12 specialty journals is only expected to grow to cover more subject areas in the future. Through this partnership, IJS Publishing group will offer high-quality services powered by Editage. These services include English language editing, academic translation, rapid technical review, artwork preparation, plagiarism check and post-publication research communication services such as video summaries and infographics.

Dr. Riaz Agha, Managing and Executive Editor – IJS Publishing Group, expressed his optimism about the new partnership, “We’re delighted to offer support to our submitting authors through these services powered by Editage. In addition to supporting authors with manuscript preparation, experts at Editage will help them communicate their published research to a wider audience in an engaging format such as video.”

Explaining the new association, Nikesh Gosalia, Academic and Publisher Relations – Editage said, “We are thrilled to partner with IJS Publishing group and support their niche author community. Our in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by doctors and clinicians encourages us to partner with publishers from select medical and surgical fields. Our experts will help make the publication process faster and smoother for not only authors, but also journal editors and peer reviewers.”

Authors submitting their manuscripts to IJS journals are busy doctors and clinicians and these services are designed to help them expedite the publication process. A dedicated technology team at Editage worked with IJS Publishing Group to integrate these services directly into the IJS website to make it easy for authors to submit their manuscripts.
